| So, Philip showed me this cartoon, "He-Man", that he used to watch when he was little. He-man is supposedly the strongest man in the universe.
Here's my question: If he's so strong, why does he have a mom haircut?

| So, the other day I was in Raley's (supermarket in CA) browsing the toiletry aisles. I noticed a bottle of scented fingernail polish remover. So I smelled it.
Then, I felt really stupid.

| Rachel's post provoked me to write on some recent thoughts I've had.
I've always considered myself to be very trusting. Heck, in Teen Leadership class in ninth grade, I fell backwards into a classmates arms without flinching while others hesitated and stumbled. But as I prepare to take some big steps toward the real world, I've discovered a surprising lack of trust in God buried deep in my heart.
Why is it that money seems to provide so much security? Wealth is deceitful. Why is it that I can't just let go? What am I holding onto? Eternal, pain-free life on earth? Yeah right. Is that even a desirable thing?
I fear so many things that I never wanted to: Death of loved ones, being tired for the rest of my life, a crappy marriage, loneliness,... I think I overestimated my spiritual maturity in high school. Trust, faith, and obedience to the Lord are such elementary principles that we all learned as children. It seemed so easy then didn't it?
As I get older, the "radicalness" of the Christian faith becomes more and more apparent.
| When I got into my rental car the first thing I realized was that it did not have a CD player. Praise the Lord for Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. I almost forgot to rescue the tape from Marlana.
Yep, I finally decided to settle on a name for my beige '95 Toyota Avalon. I got the name from a Frankie Valli song, "Marlana." You should listen to it. No offense guys, but this stuff is way better than Victoria. Aric, perhaps you should check out that song out and try to pattern your band after Frankie Valli. Seriously. His music will make you want to dance. Perhaps you can use those giant wings at the beginning of "Big Girls Don't Cry."
Can you believe Marlana is 12 years old? It seems like just the other day that my dad tried to name her "Cream" and his black Camry "Coffee." Oh dad... It's a shame those names never stuck...
| College has done wonders for my brain. My calves, on the other hand, have a much sadder story.
Love, Brynn
P.S. I think the world would be a much better place if forms and applications had more space to write. My name is pretty small, but let's be logical... College Station is a pretty long name for a city.
P.P.S. I'm really not a negative person. Why is it that negative stuff is so much funnier? Maybe I should quit trying to be so funny with my xanga "audience" and be a little more open and honest...
